CWKtiny and CWK2 CWK2 only Mainpage CW keyboard

Older software versions (15th Jan. 2003)

If you have purchased a CWKtiny before January 2003 you can get a free update from me as the software contained pretty much bugs at that time.

Version 2.61 (27th Jan. 2004)

BUG !
Since software version 2.61 all mini keyboards appear to work well but if you have the opportunity test it before purchasing.

Version 2.64 (20th Sept. 2004)

NEW !
Beacon auto-start feature was added (see description of F11 key) which allows automatic starting of a beacon immediately after powering on (or after power loss).

NEW !
Control command ^P was added to key the PTT line permanently.

NEW !
Time loops of 1 to 240 sec. are possible now. (command ^T)

Version 2.65 (1st Feb. 2005)

NEW !

NEW !

NEW !
It is now allowed to set the time between beacon transmission to zero. (command "F11 000")

NEW !
QRSS3 mode (command "^ST")

NEW !
The new control command ^Rnn text ^R allows to repeat "text" nn times

NEW !
Cyclic repetition of a quick memory content is possible now with F11 SHIFT but note, all programming is getting lost after powering off.

NEW !
Concatenating of memories F1 ... F8 in quick memory (QM) is only usable with certain qualifications. So care had to be taken when the programming sequence in the QM contains F-key notations followed by a long text which can cause a ring buffer overflow. During execution of a programming sequence the code of an F-key (1 Byte) is replaced by the appropriate text (nn Bytes) and all following characters in the QM are shifted right in the ring buffer, that is, every time a F-key is resolved, nn character bytes are added to the bytes already present in the buffer. Thus, you should place long textes if possible on the first position in the queue.

Example:

instead of    F1 F2 F5 F8 qrpp test de dl6jan    write     qrpp test de dl6jan F1 F2 F5 F8

After sending the long text ID the buffer still contains four bytes (F1,F2,F5,F8). Then F1 is resolved, say, it contains 40 characters. The total sum of bytes in QM is at that moment 43 (40 + the 3 remaining bytes from F2, F5, F8), still less than the maximum possible 51 bytes.

Version 2.67 (18th July 2005)

NEW !
The keyboard layout is now switchable for several languages. (^L0 ... ^L6)

Version 2.68 (18th July 2005)

NEW !
The characters   /   ? and  - have been added to the HELL table. A HELL space character can be inserted by using the german "Ä" key, two positions right from "L" (extended version only ).

NEW !
QRSS modes FSKCW3 ... 120 added. Also, DFCW is available in all speeds. ( extended version only ).

BUG !
The small "dash" below HELL character "6" was still a bug ( extended version only ). √ FIXED

Version 2.70 (22nd Feb. 2007)

NEW !
A special QRSS software version is no longer available. From version 2.70 upwards all features are part of the standard software.

NEW !
The QRSS modes SLANT, FAT-CW, Triangle-CW and some other commands which allow generating of graphical patterns had been added. Question mark, stroke, hyhen and space bar are available now in these modes. Thus, umlaut key "Ä" (of the german keyboard) is not used anymore as "SPACE".

BUG !
^Q and ^Z command did only work correct in the french keyboard layout.√ Fixed
